It was my friend,the Australian writer, Alister Kershaw who first introduced me to that delightful wine known as Sancerre.He and his companion, Jelka, had a cottage in a small hamlet largely populated by wine-growers and I was often the beneficiary of their legendary hospitality so when they finally decided to marry this short piece was intended as a gift.A ta mémoire,mon ami!!
