This is a modern-classical (i.e. post-romantic) concerto for English Horn (Cor Anglais) and string orchestra. It was composed in 2012 (bars 10 and 47 of the first movement were revised in 2018). It consists of four movements, all with a pastoral atmosphere: a moderate fast prelude in sonata form, a faster musette in ABA-form, a slow and expressive elegy, and a lively finale in rondo-form. There is a cadenza in the finale. The performance is a digital performance using Sibelius 4 and Kontakt Gold. A score moving video with this performance is on my YouTube-channel.
