An arboretum is a fancy noun for a display of trees. At the gardens, there is one such arboretum currently under development. This area will portray various ecosystems of trees in the state of Nebraska. Right now, there are not many trees, but I was still inspired by the thought. Arboretum is the result of what I had in mind. It carries its own harmonic language, not really following traditional �tertian� harmony, but adding an augmented interval. I had Satie�s Three Gymnop�dies in mind when I wrote this piece.
