This laid back, relaxed jazz version of the familiar carol contains beautiful lush harmonies against a moving bass punctuated with syncopated lines for added contrast. The triplets in the bass against the vibrant block chords moving in parallel motion in a crescendo bring the piece to a wonderful climax just before ending with a soft and clean sounding open 6th chord.
