The work is in 4 movements with the third being a transcription of a Magnificat by Andrea Gabrielli. This is my first completed composition for orchestra (a small one at that) but will not be my last. The instrumentation is; strings, flute, oboe, clarinet (Bb), bassoon, 2 horns, timpani, bells (Glock), chimes, and snare drum (only in II and IV).
