Another episode of "Monkey Music" based on the Exploits of the King of the Monkeys as described in the Chinese novel "Journey to the West", though this time the story seems to have shifted to the American West. Monkey's long career of mischief and mayhem culminating in the wrecking of the heavenly peach banquet was ended by him being buried under a large mountain for an eternity (which for the listener's benefit I have here thoughtfully reduced to a slow canon of just over a minute) When he is finally released by the monk Tripitaka he tries to get up to his old tricks again, but the monk has a magic tune which he whistles to reduce him to submission.
