There are three traditional Carols or Villancicos from Hispanic nations. The settings, though somewhat theatrical are lots of fun.
The first setting, La Jornada, represents the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem only to find no place to stay, until someone offerd them shelter in the stable.
The second, A La Nanita Nana, is the lullaby the Blessed Virgin sang to the baby Jesus, accompanied by the birds and animals.
The third, Alegr�a is the song the Shepherds sang as they returned from seeing the baby Jesus for the first time.
