Duo No. IV is just a fun piece with a lot of variety. One of Darrs guitar duo trademarks is the interchange between the two performers. He often has the primary themes played alternatively by the performers. The end of the piece has a nice staccato section mm. 64-67, which to my ears sounds very Italian. I also added the staccato designation for Guitar II and continued the dots above the notes for the remainder of the passage. The work was probably first published in 1905 in the Augsburg Guitar Clubs Freie Vereinigung fr das Frderung guter Guitaremusik Jahrgang No.2, Heft VIII. In mm. 22-28 the printers copy contained several dynamic markings in guitar II that were omitted in the printed edition. I have added them in this edition. For more information on Darr see my DMA research paper "ADAM DARR (1811-1866) THE CAREER AND WORKS OF A GERMAN ROMANTIC GUITARIST AND ZITHERIST."
