As with "frammenti i" this piece uses the non harmonic row from "lagoon music ii". This row is chromatic and scalic, so any instances of apparent tonal references are not accidental.
Furthermore this piece is a uses ony a fragment of the rowas it is based on the first six hexachordal rotations on E.
