Franz Wilhelm Ferling was a German composer & oboist who is probably most remembered for his 48 Etudes, still used regularly by both saxophonist & oboists. These Duets were composed in or before 1829, their first recorded publication. He spent two years of his life as a military musician, playing clarinet.
