The Natural History of Selborne for flute and continuo
I wrote the baroque style piece for flute and continuo to accompany my Youtube video of the same name, featuring a selection from the 183 illustrations in the celebrated 1900 edition of Gilbert White's classic 18th century work, 'The Natural History of Selborne', drawn by my great-great-half-uncle, Edmund Hort New. Though the score specifies harpsicord accompaniment, with a cello part dobling the right hand of keyboard, it could of course just as easily be played on the piano. Listen to the mp3 version. It has a 2 bar cello intro, which is useful if playing along with it.
