10 Blues Duets for Alto and Tenor Saxophone are original compositions by Dave McKeown. The Alto Sax plays the top part and the Tenor Sax the bottom. If you play to an intermediate standard and upwards, then you and your audience will enjoy these pieces. They are in a variety of Blues styles, and each duet sets a new rhythmic challenge. The brief sample recording is of three duets from the collection played on Clarinet, Flute and Saxophone.
10 Blues Duets for Alto and Tenor Saxophone are
fully compatible with the other Brass, Woodwind and String volumes in the series…great for mixed ensembles.
perfect for concert performances large and small
fully articulated to help develop that sense of jazz style.
great for helping with jazz rhythms.
road tested with scores of students.
fun to play.
great as stand-alone pieces without the second part.
