This new hymn text was written and dedicated to the accompanists of First Baptist Church of Lancaster, SC (Paula Rhyne, Pianist and Ella Ruth Simpson). Ella Ruth has been serving as church organist continuously for 55 years. This is an amazing record by any standards. The first two stanzas are written about the organ and the third about the piano. The last stanza gives thanks to the Lord for those who play for our services. This would be an ideal hymn for your congregation to sing to give thanks to your accompanists.
