This is a funeral song based on the lyrics of Friedrich Rueckert’s "Kindtotenlieder". It tries to catch the feelings at a funeral where the griefing slowly come into the church and see the solemnly decorated casket with roses and lilies and the feelings get the whole power over the moment.
Despite the grief and the pain the song has its delightning and hopeful moments, especially at the end where it comes to the conclusion that life goes on and that everything is good although it sometimes hurts.
