This was an assignment for a music theory class. We were given the (very exciting!) theme and were told to write five variations using tones of figuration and the like. One variation had to include a suspension. The assistant instructor insisted that we treat it like a theory assignment, not a creative one. Naturally, that's exactly what I did and what you see here is the product. There are several problems in regards to range and voice spacing, but I couldn't care less. I had my fun.
