This Christmas medieval miscellany is arranged in a dance-like manner to reflect the origins of Christmas Carols in the dance. It should be sung ’a cappella’ or with light accompaniment of suitable quasi medieval instruments. Carols included are ’Make we Joy now in this Fest’, ’Angelus ad Virginem’, ’Leaping and Dancing’, ’Song of the Nuns of Chester’, ’Coventry Carol’ and ’Dancing Day’. Each works well individually but the six are fun to present as a set. If you can dance to them as well - that’s great.
