The first of these five duets for bass recorder and classical guitar is THREE FOUR TWO, a jazz waltz in 3/4 time.
GOOD FOUR TUNE in 4/4 is a swinging bebop number.
FUNKY FIVE is, of course in 5/4 and requires the player to sing in unison with the recorder.
SIX SHADES OF SAHARA IN 6/4 reflects African music styles from areas bordering on the desert, while RHUMBA in SEVEN (7/4 time) has a distinctly Cuban flavour.
