Violin I from String Quartet
This is the whole work; it includes all three movements put together. The movements are also individually available for ease of listening.
The work was intended to celebrate various seasons of the year. The first movement depicts early spring into summer. The second movement is unofficially entitled "Minuet for Two Left Feet" due to it’s playful element of surprise, depicting the picnics and galas of the summer’s warmth. The final movement pictures the crisp, bitter air of winter and the warmth of a holiday party inside. For more details on each movement, view each movement separately.
