Drew Bowyer

I like to think of myself as an "advanced amateur" composer and player and I only write when I am inspired. I write for concert band and brass ensemble. Though I am a trumpet player, I have a great appreciation for the french horn and much of my work focuses on the low brass sections.

I am currently playing with the Haldimand-Norfolk Concert Band.

Quadlette is my earliest published work. Perigee is hopefully a step forward in composition. Quadlette was warmly received by audiences and I hope Perigee will also, though it will not likely be publicly performed until May of June of 2014… unless an ambitious conductor snatches it up.

I would most greatly appreciate feedback on my piece(s), and I would love to hear if the piece is performed somewhere other than my own band!
