Horacio Salgán

Horacio Salgán es un músico Argentino respetado y reconocido por músicos como Arthur Rubinstein, Igor Stravinsky, Lalo Schiffrin, Winton Marsalis, Daniel Barenboim entre otros. Se unió a Ubaldo De Lio en 1957 para crear el “Dúo Salgán-De Lio” que grabaría su primer LP en USA por requerimiento de la cantante Ella Fitzgerald. En 1960 él junto a De Lio, Enrique Mario Francini, Rafael Ferro y Pedro Laurenz formaron el primer “Quinteto Real” que con sus distintas formaciones ya cumplió más de “50 años” de vida. En 1969, Horacio Salgán se asoció con el pianista y compositor Dante Amicarelli, grabando “Salgán-Amicarelli Dos Virtuosos Del Piano” en 1970 y “El Bosque Mágico” en 1971. Se unió a un musical llamado “Tango Argentino” en 1983 y realizó una gira por Argentina, Europa y Estados Unidos. Con el Quinteto Real y el Dúo realizó 5 giras a Japón y recorrió el mundo, fue nominado al Latin Grammy, nombrado Visitante Ilustre en Miami, Maestro del Arte, Personalidad Emérita y Ciudadano Ilustre de Buenos Aires entre muchos de los premios y reconocimientos en todo el mundo.

In 1960 he along with De Lio, Enrique Mario Francini, Rafael Ferro and Pedro Laurenz formed the first "Quinteto Real“ that with its different formations already fulfilled more than "50 years" of life. In 1969, Horacio Salgán teamed up with pianist and composer Dante Amicarelli, recording "Salgán-Amicarelli Dos Virtuosos Del Piano" in 1970 and "El Bosque Mágico" in 1971. He joined a musical called "Tango Argentino" in 1983 and performed a tour in Argentina, Europe and the United States. With the Quinteto Real and the Duo he made 5 tours to Japan and toured the world, was nominated for the Latin Grammy, named Illustrious Visitor in Miami, Art Teacher, Emeritus Personality and Illustrious Citizen of Buenos Aires among many of the awards and recognitions in all the world.
