Richard Walsh

A Dallas native, Rick has since 2001 served as the Minister of Music at First Presbyterian Church in Grapevine, Texas (http://www.fpcgv.org). After receiving a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Texas, he met his future wife, Dee, at Northway Christian Church in Dallas, the congregation in which he had grown up. In high school and college Rick played guitar in rock bands and later, bass in a jazz trio, prior to graduate studies in choral conducting at the University of Colorado at Boulder (where he eventually earned no additional music degree but rather a BS in EE/CS). Rick recently retired from his long career in IT Networking at a major corporation.
