Darryl Cremasco holds music degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University (Bachelor of Music: Piano Performance, 2007, Waterloo, Ontario) and Memorial University of Newfoundland (Master of Music: Choral Conducting, 2010, St. John's, Newfoundland).

He currently teaches piano in his home town of Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

As a composer he is inspired by many genres including heavy metal, film soundtracks, and video game music. His classical influences include Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Philip Glass, Beethoven, Arvo Pärt, and Chopin.

He composes for solo piano, often writing for advanced players. Each of his more difficult pieces includes an easy piano version for the novice player.
