James Macdonald

I'm James Macdonald from Peebles, Scottish Borders. Pretty eclectic, writing a rock opera at the moment (which I probably won't put up on here) and have recently finished a Requiem, which I have dedicated to my late guitar teacher, the incredible Vince Woods. Influences range from Sondheim to Zappa to Faure to Townshend and more.

New project is "Battenberg" - a four-movement piece for string quartet.
