Malcolm Crane

Malcolm began his career as a professional trumpet player and teacher. In 1998 he joined the Senior Management Team of the Milton Keynes Music Service and in 2000 became Deputy Head.

Throughout the course of his career, Malcolm has necessarily been required to adapt, arrange and compose music for many varied vocal and instrumental ensembles. In 2009 he decided to take early retirement from the Music Service in order to pursue more fully that aspect of musical creation.

Malcolm very much enjoys arranging music for all instrumental and vocal combinations and welcomes commissions in all non-copyrighted musical genres (except jazz!)

Malcolm is the Musical Director of Heart and Music, one Milton Keynes' premier vocal groups.
