Michael Clarke

Michael has been Director of Music at St Nicolas Church Cranleigh since 1992, where he plays the organ for most services, directs a traditional Anglican mixed voice choir and leads a contemporary music group to support a wide variety of service styles. He has been directing, arranging and composing music for over 40 years, with performing experience as a singer and oboist, violinist and keyboard player. He writes mainly choral compositions and arrangements for use in Christian worship, aiming for accessible and singable music that seeks to serve the words well.
