Spektrum is a collection of non-linear works for unaccompanied instruments. Through the use of various simultaneous extended and advanced techniques, the music is designed to create the illusion of a polyphonic texture or spectrum of sound on traditionally monophonic (single line) instruments. Spektrum I for Solo Tuba requires the performer to employ various sound effects (beat-boxing), body movements and multiphonics.
