This is a setting of words from William Blake's long poem, 'Jerusalem', about the spiritual disaster that overcame England in Blake's day and persists in our own, and the vision of renewal that Blake imagined. It is for the unusual combination of choir and brass band and was written for a possible St. George's Day event. It ends with a setting of Parry's famous 'Jerusalem'.
