Five-note March! (Flute Choir)
Five-note March was originally written for piano (six hands), where the top part again used just five notes throughout the main section - in this case a pentatonic scale.
I have decided to arrange it for a number of popular instrumental ensembles, brass and woodwind - it would make a nice little encore piece!
Romanian flautist and flute teacher, Ramona Tutuianu, will be using the piece with her students in the Cluj-Napoca Music Conservatoire. She uses a specially-written bassoon instead of bass flute and this is what you hear on the attached MP3.
