It is also scored for male voice choir - available on this website. At one of Harrogate MVC's performances of this song in 2017, when they were performing to raise funds for the Starbeck Community Library in the town, the leader of the volunteer group who now run the library commented, in her vote of thanks, that she had read the Kipling poem many times but, she admitted, she had never really understood it until hearing this musical setting.
