I have used dialogue instead of secco recitative, to make it slightly more accessible, and though the setting is intended to be in the period of the original, the nature of both the dialogue and the lyrics is modern and mostly informal - some of the characters, notably Cherubino, could be described as potty-mouthed!
In every instance, any dialogue following the musical item is appended to that item, even if it belongs to the next scene. (The exception is the opening of Act 3)
