Contemporary African based on a traditional free form oral poetry from the Bambara speaking peoples of West Africa. Melodic mode on electric guitar and harmonic cadence of flute based on a Tikari call and response native motif and dance imagery. Acoustic guitar maintains a steady Mbaya beat another tikari dance rhythm idiom from the Banso peoples of the Cameroon. Written for a jazz ensemble and can be tranposed and interpreted easily.

Which method of viewing music should I use?
