Aria and Jubilate was written for trombone and piano. It follows the Andante and Allegro form with a slow opening section and a contrasting fast section.
This piece is good for recitals and gives the trombonist and opportunity to play in the upper range of the instrument and demonstrate smooth legato playing in the opening slow section.
