A virtuosic showcase to show off your star Clarinettist, transcribed from the original for solo violin. The band parts are not too difficult. The violin part has been adapted, partly to accommodate the more limited top range of the clarinet, but mostly to give a few opportunities to breathe. The solo part is dramatic and agile but very playable.
The MP3 file is synthesized but I will record a live version as soon as I have the opportunity.
(There is also a version for Alto Saxophone and Wind Band but the parts are not interchangeable)
