This song from a poem by Thomas Hardy is called Lines ( To A Symphony by Mozart in E flat) which suggested to me the most famous and best known of his symphonies in this key, number 39. So I chose the 3rd movement, Minuet and Trio, to transcribe as a piano accompaniment to the setting of Hardy's words. There are 4 verses to the poem and I've liberally edited the original Mozart work using both parts of the minuet and trio sections to fit the voice and piano parts to make hopefully a no-less musical experience. I think it works reasonably well but time will tell if it's a successful idea. All proceeds from any sales of this music will go to Angels Charity for Autism Support in Hertfordshire U.K. Many thanks.
