Which method of viewing music should I use?

This arrangement was composed for the hymn ’Saints of God! Lo, Jesu’s people’ by Athelstan Riley (1858-1945) (NEH 179), but the arrangement may be used for other hymns that are suited to the tune ’Gott will’s machen’, such as ’Father, hear the prayer we offer’ by Maria Willis (1824-1908) (NEH 357).
