The 'Swing Concerto' belongs to a few compositions of Michel Warlop who have survived. Warlop was one of the greatest jazzmen during the '30s; he died tragically young just after World War II. As a violinist he played with stars like Coleman Hawkins, Django Reinhardt and also with his friend St?phane Grapelli. Since the original printed music is lost, I have reconstructed the music on the basis of a historical recording. In this revised version the piece was successfully performed in August, 2000 in Bern. Parts will be uploaded shortly.
