Isaiah anticipated the birth of a Messiah. This is the first movement in a yet-to-be-finshed Christmas cantata. It is the anticipation of the Hebrew people that is the root of Christian worship. The piece is written in mixolydian mode which emotionally brings the listener back to ancient times. Although it is a single movement, it will stand alone, and so I am offering it to those who are interested.
