Recently I was asked by the leader of music school string orchestra to compose quite unexpected inclusions into the Mozart’s Serenata Notturna KV. 239. In resemblance to the renowned project �Mozart in Egypt�(have you listened to it?), the similarly weird imagination of �Mozart in Lithuania Minor� was taken as a starting point.
Lithuania Minor (West Lithuanian region, Ma�oji Lietuva, Kleinlitauen) owns its distinctive, colourful folklore. So, here you are, just 12 folk tunes (through all 3 movements) "invading" Mozart’s Serenade.
