"Ach Herr, du allerhöchster Gott" (The Lord ascendeth up on high) - music by Michael Praetorius (1571-1621). Found in "The Hymnal 1982" (no.219) and as an anthem in "Epiphany to All Saints" (OUP, p.144). Descant by John Ross. The words of this Ascension-tide hymn were written by Arthur Tozer Russell (1806-1874) and first published in his "Hymns for Public Worship and Private Devotion" (1848).
