Throughout my time as a chorister at Peterborough Cathedral , UK, I sang these words many times and they carry great sentiment. The Benedictus forms a small part of the Mass, a form of sacred musical composition, sung (or read) as part of the Eucharistic liturgy.
This is the vocal score taken from my Benedictus for SATB choir and orchestra.
It is less operatic but more designed for the church/cathedral choir singing style.
