�Beside Still Waters� is based on an original melody that was inspired by Celtic folk music. It is a meditation on the twenty-third Psalm, and is suitable for both recital and worship. In this piece, I combine stillness with movement, using varied melodic repetitions and bell-like passages over long pedal tones. I unite the highest and lowest range of the instrument, as a symbol of the merging of heaven an earth.
