This is an almost complete sketch of the 2nd movement of my 'Black Symphony'. It combines elements of 'traditional' orchestral writing with rock and metal and a biblical text. The result is a very dark work indeed, one of the strangest pieces of music if feel i have ever written. At this stage there is no MP3 available, and there are few dynamic, phrasing and articulation markings as yet - the score is merely intended for study/perusal.
Though my intention is for this to be a 'dark' sounding work, as it would be with the 'real' instruments, the current arrangement sans MP3 depending on your soundcard, probably makes it sound more like the band that sang that song, 'the final countdown' making love to the 'time-bandits' on a bed of sythesizers. With that strange thought in mind, I hope you enjoy the study score edition rendition of "The Black Symphony".
