It’s technically not too demanding ad has a lot in common with my English Horn concerto Op. 60. It consists of four movements, all with a pastoral/rural atmosphere: a moderately fast prelude in sonata form (in Dorian mode), a faster march with a musette as middle section, a slow and expressive elegy, and a fantasia with a fast middle section, preceded and followed by a moderately fast intro/epilogue. Digital performance using Sibelius 6 and Garritan Personal Orchestra. Score moving videos and play along videos are on my YouTube-channel.
