"Crazy Blues" is a slow blues composition, which I wrote for my Jazz Band at our High School in Vienna, Austria. The two flutes (mostly in thirds)combined with the low third voice played by the clarinet give the main theme a nice "crazy" sound.The dialogue between piano fills and brass section is strongly suggestive of Basie. The written solos are optional and can be opened.
