This arrangement offers something different from other editions available commercially. The use of the rumba rhythm at various points gives Monti’s celebrated showpiece an exotic Latin American flavour while preserving its expressive Hungarian character and dazzling virtuosity.
Players should feel free to add their own embellishments and improvisations, making each performance individual and spontaneous.
