This brass octet piece was commissioned by Grampian Fire Brigade in 1992 to celebrate the bi-centenial of the founding of the fire service in Aberdeen, Scotland UK. It is an arrangement for 8 brass instruments of the original brass band piece. Since organised fire fighting began in 1721, the brave fire fighters of Grampian Fire brigade have, with honour, provided an exemplary service in the region. This music is respectfully and gratefully dedicated to the past, present and future Fire fighters in the Service and is a musical salute to the Brigade's next 200 years beginning in 1992.
