Unfortunately the original program note got lost when I tried to update this file so I'll have to come up with something new: A long time ago this melody came to my mind when I was sleeping and dreaming of sand dunes. I really didn't want to turn this into another short and meaningless piece so I waited for a long time to write it down. Finally I decided to make something big out of it and wrote this little piece as a kind of prologue of things to come. There are many hints of melodic fragments, so: Imagine an early morning in a desert, in a time when there still were adventures, romance and true love. I hope that I'll soon have the time to write more of this. p.s.: The playback by Sibelius does no justice to this piece, it doesn't even sound similar to what it is supposed to be. Please don't forget that it can't emulate a real player!
