An approximate translation is:-
Alas, I am betrayed by my fleeting days, and the mirror
That tells the truth that each looks closely at,
It happens to those who do so far too late;
As I did, that the time has escaped me;
It is like me a one day old.
Nor can I regret, nor address me, nor do I recommend, with the death below.
Enemy of myself, to no avail to the tears and sighs:
That damage is not equal to the time lost.
