'Over There' is a 1917 song written by George M. Cohan (1878 - 1942) that was popular with the United States military and public during both world wars. From 2009 in the United Kingdom the song was adapted for use on a long-running series of television advertisements for the financial services comparison website 'Go Compare' and featuring the Welsh singer Wynne Evans.
