Translated as "Pleasure of love", the beautiful and enchanting "Plaisir d'Amour" is a classical French love song written in 1784 by 18th century French composer Jean-Paul-Égide Martini (1741–1816). It took its text from a poem by Jean-Pierre Claris de Florian (1755–1794), which appears in his novel Célestine.

With its melodious tune and soothing harmonies, this arrangement of "Plaisir D'Amour" creates an ethereal ambiance that transports listeners to a world of love and romance, and is a perfect choice to set the mood for any occasion of the heart - be it a wedding, anniversary, or a romantic evening with a loved one.

This arrangement for 3-octaves handbells, designed to be shorter, and accessible, yet ensuring all ringers have interesting parts, includes handbell techniques gyro, shake, tower swing, and echo.
